Garlic Lemon Rice

Serves: 7–8
Ingredients
- 2½ cups rice
- 5 cups hot water
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- salt to taste
- zest of 1 lemon
- ½ cup chopped parsley
Directions
- Sauté the garlic in olive oil and butter.
- Add the rice and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add water and salt.
- Cook for 12–15 minutes.
- Finish with lemon zest and parsley.
